Formed in 2023, we are formed to fill the void in the CPA industry, whereby businesses and individuals are underserved since the massive CPA exodus from 2020-2022. (It is said that 300,000 CPAs left the industry, with currently 660,000 CPAs remaining in the United States).
The pain points from businesses and individuals are vast. CPAs are working hard and fast, but are not able to give the deserved time and attention to their clients.
CPAs have the option to be proactive, reactive, and inactive with tax strategies and planning. Given the current status of the industry, most CPAs have had to be inactive on this front.

Founder of Khalsa Group
Harisimran Khalsa, CPA
​
Harisimran started as an accountant in 2003 in Tucson, AZ. She has held a CPA in three states: AZ, CA, and AR (applied for). Harisimran worked for Ernst & Young (EY) in both Phoenix and India offices, as well as a Pacific-Southwest regional firm geared towards smaller businesses, high net worth individuals and real estate. As a tax professional, she has served many high-profile businesses and individuals, including but not limited to: Circle K, Petsmart, and Mobile Mini, to name a few.
During a tax professional hiatus from 2013-2022, Harisimran served as a VP Finance for several successful startup companies, as well as the CFO for a large CPG holding company in New Mexico. She understands the needs of running a business from the inside, but also has the tax planning expertise to manage the tax aspects of the business. In her role as CFO, she saved the corporation close to $20 million in tax planning opportunities that were previously unrecognized by their outside CPA providers.
On a personal front, Harisimran co-founded a nonprofit organization, Duwara Consciousness Foundation, which is dedicated to serving underprivileged populations with much needed services. Harisimran is happily married with two children.
